Senior Salesforce Developer (AI & Core Platform)

Remote Full-time 8+ years experience

Lead development of high-performance custom Salesforce solutions with AI and Agentforce. Fully remote role for a full-stack Salesforce engineer.

The Role

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you are more than a coder; you are a technical expert of the user experience. You will lead the development of high-performance, custom solutions that push the boundaries of what Salesforce can do. From designing AI-powered autonomous agents with Agentforce to building complex integrations, you will ensure our platform is intelligent, responsive, and robust.

This is a fully remote position for a self-driven engineer who values clean code, automated testing, and the challenge of integrating Salesforce into a complex enterprise ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Full-Stack Salesforce Engineering: Design and develop mission-critical solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced Flow orchestration.
  • AI Implementation: Lead the deployment of Agentforce and Einstein AI features. You will be responsible for intent detection, automated summarization, and building “next-best-action” logic to transform how our teams work.
  • Integration Architecture: Build and maintain secure, scalable integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Genesys, SAP, or Billing engines) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware like MuleSoft.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a mentor to the development team, leading code reviews and setting the standard for “clean code,” modular design, and maintainability.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Take ownership of the release lifecycle. You will maintain and optimize our CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, Git, and automated testing frameworks to ensure seamless deployments.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Partner with Business Analysts and Architects to quickly prototype solutions for complex business challenges, moving from “concept” to “credible solution” with speed.
  • Platform Health: Ensure the system adheres to Salesforce best practices, platform limits, and security standards, while proactively identifying areas for refactoring and technical debt reduction.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 8+ years of Salesforce development experience with a deep focus on Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
  • Modern Core Stack: Expert level in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Asynchronous processing) and LWC. You are comfortable with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • AI Capability: Hands-on experience or deep theoretical knowledge of Agentforce and Einstein AI ecosystems. (Salesforce AI certifications are a significant plus).
  • Integration Expertise: Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with external systems, managing complex auth flows, callouts, and error handling.
  • DevOps Mindset: You are a Salesforce DX pro. You understand version control, scratch orgs, and how to automate the path to production.
  • Database Mastery: Strong skills in SOQL/SOSL and a solid understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
  • The “Remote” Edge: You are a disciplined communicator. You can explain technical trade-offs to stakeholders via Zoom and provide detailed, helpful feedback in an asynchronous code review.

Qualifications

  • Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I and II Certifications.
  • Preferred: Salesforce Certified AI Associate or AI Specialist; Experience with OmniStudio or Industry Clouds (Health, Education, or Financial).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
