Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer (SFCC)

The Role

As a Senior SFCC Developer, you will be the technical engine behind our global digital storefronts. This role goes beyond simply writing code; you will be responsible for developing high-performance eCommerce experiences that balance pixel-perfect front-end delivery with robust, complex back-end integrations.

Working in a fully remote, agile environment, you will serve as a lead developer anchor—mentoring developers, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring that our commerce platform is scalable, secure, and built for high-volume global traffic.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Full-Stack Engineering: Lead the design and development of complex features using SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture), ensuring clean, standards-compliant code across ISML, Controllers, and Scripts.
• Architectural Stewardship: Collaborate with Solution Architects to design scalable, multi-site, and multi-currency environments. You will be responsible for the “technical health” of the platform.
• Integration Excellence: Architect and maintain critical integrations with third-party services (Payment Gateways, Tax Services, OMS, PIM, and ERP/SAP) using LINK cartridges and custom API frameworks.
• API Mastery: Leverage OCAPI and SCAPI (Shopper Commerce API) to build modern, performant commerce experiences and support potential headless/composable transitions.
• Performance Optimization: Own the site’s speed and stability. You will proactively monitor Core Web Vitals and server-side performance to ensure peak conversion rates, especially during high-traffic events.
• Technical Leadership: Drive the code review process, enforce development best practices, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• DevOps & Automation: Optimize the release management process and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, low-risk deployments in a distributed team setting.

What You Bring

• The Experience: 6+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years deeply focused on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C/Demandware).
• Technical Core: Expert-level proficiency in native JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and modern front-end styling (CSS3/SASS).
• SFCC Depth: Deep experience with SFRA, Jobs Framework, Services Framework, and Custom Objects. You know the platform’s limitations and how to engineer around them.
• Integration Fluency: Proven track record of connecting SFCC to “Back Office” systems (ERP/SAP) and managing complex data serialization (JSON/Avro).
