Salesforce Technical Architect
Lead the design and delivery of large-scale enterprise Salesforce programs. Remote role for a technical visionary with multi-cloud expertise.
The Role
As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you are the chief visionary and guardian of our technical ecosystem. You will lead the design and delivery of large-scale, enterprise Salesforce programs, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and perfectly aligned with long-term business strategy.
This role requires a rare blend of deep technical mastery and high-level strategic thinking. You won’t just solve today’s problems; you will architect a platform that anticipates the needs of tomorrow—governing data flows, defining integration patterns, and steering our multi-cloud roadmap (Service, Sales, Data, and Experience Clouds).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Architectural Strategy & Governance: Define the end-to-end technical architecture across the Salesforce platform. Apply the Salesforce Well-Architected Framework to ensure security, scalability, and resilience.
- Integration Leadership: Architect complex integration patterns (Event-driven, REST/SOAP, Middleware) to connect Salesforce with enterprise systems such as SAP, ERPs, and legacy databases. You will define the “System of Record” and manage master data strategy.
- Data Cloud & AI Vision: Lead the architecture for Data Cloud, including data ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution. Set the strategic direction for AI-driven service processes and autonomous agents.
- Technical Stewardship: Oversee the technical SDLC. You will lead design sessions and code reviews, ensuring that Developers and Consultants follow best-in-class design patterns (LWC, Apex, Flow) and maintain high code quality.
- DevOps & Environment Management: Define the release management strategy, version control standards, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, low-risk deployments across multi-org environments.
- Complex Migrations: Oversee massive data migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance-driven solutions for large datasets.
- Stakeholder Influence: Translate complex technical trade-offs into clear business outcomes for executive stakeholders. You will bridge the gap between “what is possible” and “what is strategic.”
- Mentorship: Serve as the “North Star” for the technical team, mentoring Senior Developers and Consultants and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
What You Bring
- The Experience: 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 6+ years as a Salesforce Architect leading complex, enterprise-scale implementations.
- Multi-Cloud Expertise: Mastery across Service, Sales, Experience, and Data Clouds. You understand platform limits and how to architect around them.
- Integration Prowess: Deep understanding of authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth), integration tools (MuleSoft, Boomi), and API security (TLS, SSL).
- Domain Depth: Proven experience in designing high-volume contact center transformations (Omni-channel, CTI, Voice) or complex financial/public sector systems.
- Architectural Mindset: You excel at “As-Is” vs. “To-Be” modeling. You can identify gaps in the current state and deliver a comprehensive roadmap to reach the desired end-state.
- Leadership Presence: Excellent communication and facilitation skills. You are as comfortable in a technical deep-dive as you are in a boardroom presentation.
Qualifications
- Required: Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
- Preferred: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or significant progress toward the credential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
