Salesforce Business Analyst

Remote Full-time 6+ years experience

Join as a Salesforce Business Analyst. Translate business challenges into scalable Salesforce solutions in a remote-first environment.

The Role

As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you are the vital link between our business stakeholders and our technical delivery team. Your mission is to translate complex business challenges into elegant, scalable Salesforce solutions. You aren’t just a “requirement taker”—you are a process optimizer who understands how to leverage the Salesforce platform to drive operational excellence and measurable ROI.

In this remote-first role, you will lead the discovery process, map out “as-is” and “to-be” processes, and ensure that every feature we build delivers genuine value to our users.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Discovery & Requirements: Lead workshops with stakeholders to uncover pain points and business needs. Translate these into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Process Engineering: Model business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement. You will be responsible for creating the blueprint that our Developers and Architects follow.
  • Solution Alignment: Partner with Technical Architects to ensure proposed solutions align with Salesforce best practices, prioritizing native functionality over custom code whenever possible.
  • Data & Analytics: Design and deliver advanced reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into sales performance, customer engagement, and operational health.
  • UAT & Quality Assurance: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, ensuring that the delivered solution meets the business’s definition of “done” and is free of friction.
  • Change Management & Training: Act as the “voice of the user.” Create training materials (videos, FAQs, step-by-step guides) and lead sessions to ensure high platform adoption and user confidence.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to department leads (Sales, Marketing, Finance), shadowing their workflows to identify “hidden” gaps in the current system.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4 years specifically focused on the Salesforce CRM (Sales, Service, or Experience Clouds).
  • Agile Expertise: Proven track record of working in an Agile environment—writing crisp user stories, managing backlogs in Jira (or similar), and participating in sprint ceremonies.
  • Technical Savvy: While you don’t need to code, you must have a deep understanding of Salesforce’s declarative capabilities (Flows, Validation Rules, Security Models, and Reporting).
  • Communication Artistry: You can translate “business speak” into “tech speak” and vice-versa. You are a confident presenter who can lead a Zoom room full of executives or a deep-dive session with developers.
  • Analytical Mindset: You enjoy digging into data, identifying trends, and using those insights to recommend “deep dive” analyses for business improvement.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Business Analyst and/or Salesforce Administrator certifications are highly preferred.

Why Join Us?

  • Remote-First Autonomy: We trust our team to deliver. You’ll have the tools and flexibility to work from anywhere while staying deeply integrated into our collaborative culture.
  • Impact-Driven Work: You won’t just be moving tickets; you’ll be architecting the processes that allow our company (and our clients) to scale.
  • Continuous Learning: We encourage our BAs to stay at the forefront of the ecosystem. We support ongoing certification and provide exposure to the latest Salesforce releases and integrated technologies.
